A dynamic CEO with a record of business growth, Johanne Gallant is dedicated to supporting her community and developing the next generation of leaders.

Johanne joined the Fredericton International Airport Authority (FIAA) as President and CEO in 2015, bringing over 30 years of success in the fields of marketing, sales and international trade to New Brunswick’s capital city. Under her leadership, the airport added two new air carriers as well as additional destinations, resulting in a passenger traffic increase of 21 per cent in four years and making YFC one of the fastest-growing airports in Atlantic Canada. In 2019, the airport authority launched its most ambitious capital project to date: a $32-million terminal expansion.

Prior to joining YFC, Johanne spent over a decade leading the Greater Moncton International Airport’s considerable growth as Director of Airport Commercial Development and Acting President and CEO (2011-2014). Previous to that role, she held various positions with the New Brunswick Department of Tourism and Economic Development, including Director of Marketing and Trade Sales.

She was recognized by Atlantic Business Magazine as one of the Top 50 CEO’s in Atlantic Canada for 2020.

Although she has a busy schedule, her passion for fitness, health, and travel complements her dedication to her job. She has also enjoyed participating in humanitarian missions with her family, which allowed them to assist with fund raising and building a women’s medical clinic and elementary schools in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Africa.
