Wanita McGraw holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Université de Moncton, Chartered Accountant (CA) Professional Designations with Merit, Bronze Medalist in New Brunswick, Chartered Professional Accountant with Fellow (FCPA) and accredited by the Institute of Administrators of society (ICD.D).

 

She has over 20 years of practice experience. She joined the Benoit, McGraw & Paulin team in 2002 and has been a partner since 2005. She has also been a lecturer at the Université de Moncton and taught in the Chartered Accountants program. She provides assurance services and is the audit partner at the firm.

 

Wanita is very active in her community, sitting on the board of directors of various companies, giving lectures in the business community and mentoring students from the Université de Moncton as well as entrepreneurs. She currently sits on the board of UNI Financial Cooperation as vice-chair and chair of the audit committee.

 

Her dynamism and involvement have been underlined on many occasions, earning her several honors, including the title of 2007 alumnus of the year at the Faculty of Administration of the Université de Moncton, one of the 6 most influential women in New Brunswick in 2010, the title of Fellow of Chartered Professional Accountant of CPA NB, as well as several titles as a woman in business.

 

Wanita’s latest project was the creation of the “Fondation des petits déjeuners de la Péninsule Acadienne Inc.”, a charitable organization to ensure that the children of the Acadian Peninsula can all start their school days on a full stomach, every day of the week.
